1. 12. 2013 Auction day 71

Our traditional autumn auction day will be held on Sunday December 1, 2013 at Prague, Zofin Pallace from 01 PM.

More than 457 art pieces will be offered to art collectors with total starting price for almost 100 million CZK. In terms of the final summary achieved price, it is very possible it will be one of this year´s greatest auctions.

The biggest surprise can take care of  absolutely unique, eminently gallery art work by Toyen „Shipwreck in a dream“, from the high surrealistic period of 1934, starting on 9,5 million CZK or absolutely rare and on auction market precious
prewar painting by Styrsky „Ordinary awakening“ for 9 million CZK or cubist still life for 5,5 million CZK from one of the founders czech modern art Emil Filla.

Not only collectors and investors, but also the general public, will be surely interested  in several rediscovered paintings from absolutely essentional czech painters, for example extremely artificial „Akvarium“ by Jindrich Styrsky (5,5 milion CZK), sophisticated sensitive „Lying nude“ by Vojtech Hynais (800.000 CZK), large format „Autumn dawn“ by Jakub Schikaneder (3 million CZK) or Alphonse Muchas two sweetly figural scenes, which were a long time hidden in domestic private collections. Naturally we cannot forget monumental „Jewish cemetery“ by Jaroslav Cermak (2,5 million CZK), imported from foreign countries and in Czech Republic after more than 150 years or unique hypperrealistic „Late afternoon“ by most expensive Czech present authors Theodor Pistek, which originally came from the artists atelier, starting on 1,2 million CZK.
