The KODL Gallery supports the non-profit organization Post Bellum, which has been searching for and recording the memories of witnesses of key moments of the 20th century since 2000. Once a year, the first ten works of art are auctioned for the benefit of the Memory of Nations. "We really appreciate this cooperation. The support of the KODL Gallery, of the artists who have donated their works and those who purchased them, helps us not only financially, but also gives us moral encouragement, “ says Mikuláš Kroupa, director of Post Bellum. Together with its partners Post Bellum has built the largest publicly accessible collection of witness stories in Europe: www.pametnaroda.cz. It captures almost seven thousand memories of war veterans, dissidents, Holocaust survivors, political prisoners, but also StB agents or members of the Communist Party. The radio series Stories of the 20th century, as well as exhibitions, books and educational projects are also based on the Memory of Nations collection. For the past nine years Post Bellum has also been presenting the Memory of Nations Awards.  If you would like to support their activities you can become a member of the Memory of Nations Friends' Club.
