Oldřich Blažíček
19. 9. - 11. 10. 2019
The autumn sales exhibition of Czech painter Oldřich Blažíček was conceived cross -section. The painter's early and late works were represented in many thematic positions. The paintings were often inspired by the author's memories of childhood and reflected all the painter's family and travel activities.
At the exhibition it was possible to see the Czech and Slovak landscapes in all year. The capture of their original form carried considerable documentation value. The works depicting temple interiors were also included (for example, at the Mass in the St. Vitus Cathedral or the interior of the Cerkve Struiev in Jasina).
The themes of other paintings were inspired by everyday life - often with a group of characters, for example: fishing on the Kaňov pond in the Třeboň region, Rosenberg, Snack in the Fields or Sundays in Saldobos. Portrait work was represented by the painter's own portrait with the virus.
Photographs from the author's family archive were also located at the exhibition. There was also an overview of the selection of literature and exhibition catalogs about Blažíček.
The exhibition could be visited every weekday. As part of the exhibition, a series of guided tours always took place on Tuesday and Thursday from 16:00 on the following dates:
