Emil Filla (1882–1953) from Private Collections

We cordially invite you to the summer exhibition Emil Filla (1882–1953) from Private Collections, taking place from 24 June to 21 August 2026 at Galerie KODL.

The exhibition will present more than fifty paintings by one of the most important figures of Czech modern art. Visitors will have a unique opportunity to explore a representative cross-section of Filla’s oeuvre, ranging from his early Cubist compositions, through still lifes and figurative works of the 1930s, to his late paintings. Several of the works will be displayed to the public for the first time in many decades.

A catalogue accompanying the exhibition will place the exhibited paintings within the broader context of Filla’s artistic development and their collecting history.

Selected works will be available for purchase upon request.
