Exhibition for the auction Artslimit online 11
The curated online auction, running from 7 to 27 September, presents a collection of artworks spanning from the 19th century to the present day. Featured artists include Václav Radimský, Josef Šíma, Václav Špála, Toyen, Jan Zrzavý and Josef Lada, alongside prominent representatives of the contemporary Czech art scene. The auction also includes collectible items, such as handbags by Hermès, Chanel, Dior and Louis Vuitton, as well as Chopard earrings. A special part of the auction is a charity collection featuring works by nine contemporary artists inspired by an expedition to the Congo. Proceeds from the sale of these works will support the educational and awareness-raising activities of the Czech non-profit initiative Save-Elephants. A new feature of this online auction is the Early Bid. If you place your bidding limit by Wednesday, 9 September at 10 am at the latest and successfully purchase the artwork within this limit, you will benefit from a reduced buyer’s premium of 20% instead of the standard 25%. To qualify for the reduced buyer’s premium, your Early Bid must not be increased after this deadline. Any subsequent increase will be considered a new bidding limit and will therefore cancel your eligibility for the reduced buyer’s premium. The pre-auction exhibition will take place from 7 to 26 September at Galerie KODL, Národní 7, Prague 1. The exhibition is open on weekdays from 10 am to 6 pm and exceptionally also on Saturday, 26 September. Guided tours will take place on 10, 17 and 24 September, always at 4 pm.
